Japs pattern

I always fancy Japs pattern magazine..... the sizing is always on the larger end which suits yours truly to the T! lolz!!!

I made this for my daughter and she loves it....

I have informed earlier that i went to Saigon for fabric hunting... here is some of what I managed to grab....

its february

i kinda missed the 10th post, which i apologize. not my intention for not posting as promised...... it was total madness .....


i only managed to cut fabric for my daughter's blouse and was stuck to sew it together as i need bias tape for the top opening..... sigh.....


i tried my hand on making a small bag by following instruction from a japs magazine( imagine that!!!) total confusion on my part as i do not comprehend the part on the final stich on top of the bag..... hahahhahah

LOLZ!!!! i am going for a shopping trip to saigon city in 2 days time.... i will be sharing the fabrics that i bought there soon....

not a productive week

this whole week was very unproductive for me (in the creative area, to be exact!). I did not start any sewing project at all.... sigh.... too buzy with the office and too tired to be creative.....

to avoid falling into the non-creativeness rut..... and to compensate for not sharing the earlier projects that i have done.... i am sharing here the bags that i have did..... courtesy of the book that i bought.... "one yard wonder" it was a great crafting!

finally for my own..... the fabric was a birthday gift from Azah thank you,my lovely fren!

i made this for Azah for her birthday.... labour was the gift!!! as the fabric comes from the owner herself!

i had a blast sewing those..... but the first bag i did was actually a diaper bag for my sister.... it took me close to 3 weeks to complete.... phew!

my bag

i got "sew" by cath kitson as farewell gift from my ex colleagues. i had the book for around 4 months plus. in the book, there is cut-fabric to make a bag.....

well.... here the bag that i made.....

altering jeans

my daughter has outgrown her jeans, eventhough she stills fit into the jeans, the length was quite out. at first i have decide to hand down the jeans to a relative, but somehow a creative me thinking of adding length to it.
first i though of adding lace to it.... but the laces i have in my stash make the jeans looks like old lady jeans. then i ransack into my remnants cloths and found a piece that fit my requirement. so i began making the ruffles....
i have took the before and after pics of the jeans and will upload it once i found my camera cable.... i think i know where it was.....


i am thinking of parting with 1 or even 2 metres of the fabrics in my collection.... i will post how to win this next month in celebration of my birthday!
